I have a lab at work that also replicates the InternetExpert structure. I
use the same router for R1 and the frame switch (in my case a 3725). I
put 4 T1 cards in it for the frame switch piece and used the 2 fastE ports
for the R1 piece. Works great.
I use an old Portmaster for my term server (http://portmasters.com).
It was hanging around from the dial up days. It's great, but you can do
the same thing with any of the Cisco routers you buy with the right
serial card (I saw another post about this in this thread).
