Hi
I stayed at etap and thon hotel in Brussels. they are both walking distance. i can recommend the thon hotel which is just opposite the pegasus park. you get free transport from and to the airport if you call them from the hotel reservation desk inside the airport.
i booked online through: https://www.accomline.com/
i had to pay in advance and could not change the date but as you can't re-schedule your ccie exam once you passed the 28 day "point of no return"
this doesn't really matter. It cost me 100$ including breakfast opposed to 138$ excluding breakfast if you book directly with the hotel. prices seem to vary.
although the price was higher for the thon hotel i enjoyed it much more and hotel cost do not really matter compared to the amount you spend to achieve the ccie...
Daniel
