I was frustrated over 2 days by this bug!!
if u put 2 NM-16ESW on the router , u can go nowhere!!!
it means that u cannot ping vlan interface ,or connect to any device via
Layer 2 connectivity,
as an example:
R1----------------------------R2---------------------------------------------R3----------------------------------R4
slot1: NM-16ESW slot1: NM-16ESW
slot2: NM-16ESW slot2: NM-16ESW
R2 and R3 are mounted with 2XNM-16ESW modules each.
assume R2 and R3 connected via trunk link.
some bugs I discovered:
u cannot ping neither int vlan 1 ip of R2 from R1 nor int of R4 or any other
devices.
if u use NM-16ESW ports as L3 ports,it works fine ,but if u want to use it
as layer 2, u will face problem if use two NM-16ESW modules on a router.
