vtp not working if Native vlan changed????

assume this scenario:

SW1 __________________ SW2 two switches are connecting via
two trunks. if I change native vlan to diffrent vlan ,VTp not working
anymore .SW1 is server and SW2 is

                                                                 client as
soon as configure back native vlan to vlan 1 ,vtp information propagated
between two switches.

 any idea why this happens??
