Hi,
I might have the opportunity to move to the US after February 2008. A little
about my self might help. I have a BSEE, CCNA, CCNP and some wireless
certifications.
I have about 3-4 years experience and all in a technical role dealing with
cisco gear.
I've been involved in many projects.
1. I designed a wireless network
2. Transitioned customers from one ISP to another.
3. Technical lead in a large scale VoIP implementation
I've worked for consulting companies and also large ISP's with customers
that have big and very complex networks.
And many other projects.
All Cisco. I plan on sitting my CCIE lab in February 2008 and hopefully I'll
pass.
I was wondering what is the job situation in the US. If I get my CCIE, will
I be able to find work in the US. I plan to move to the east coast and
probably Boston. I am also legally allowed to work in the US so will not
need sponsorship. If I don't get my CCIE by February, would it be a good
choice to move to the US? or should I till I get CCIE?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks.
J
