Shape Average|Peak Question!

Dear all,
   
   I am a bit confused about when to used shape Average and when to use shape peak...
  As far as i understande "average" means to send Bc every Tc while Peak means to send Bc+Be every Tc....
   
  Please don't provide me links to read because i have alot:))...... i just want to know when to use each option and what are the keywards for each option....
