FYI -
I have not yet capitulated.
Nope, I feel I am too close for that.
I was not happy with the process of the regrade and
expected to see some change at least - but that did
not happen. Oh well - it sounded like it was going to
be graded per section and then the response back said
major sections, etc.
Oh well, no matter.
The big issue is that Cisco should send an email and
that one's profile should reflect the result:
pass/fail, etc. Since I had to ask to find out what
my reg-grade status was - I thought this process could
stand some improvement. Maybe I just slipped in the
cracks.
Anyway - I won't be paying for another re-grade and
will share my one experience with anyone who asks -
Yes I have the emails as well. I figured a failed
attempt was possible and was prepared for this event -
I did not expect to have to beat the bushes to be told
the results.
So to answer the question, I have not given up my
persistence to take and pass the CCIE RS Lab, I have
decided to revisit my materials and subscriptions and
take a different approach to getting over my issues.
I'm still in the game and I won't be the first person
to need 4 or more attemtst to beat this thing.
