Thanks Eric,
Very well said.
To everyone else, this is about as official as it is
going to get most likely.
If you think the lab is that unfair - allow me to
suggest Juniper to you. They have a proctored lab and
are currently indulging potential candidates with free
online training that is even especially geared towards
Cisco Certified Professionals. And the Sybex Books are
now offered for free online as well to help people out
a little more it seems. They are older but apparently
not so out of date where general information and
certification are concerened.
Not that I am implying they want to poach Cisco's
disciples or anything... but Cisco did arrange for a
Cisco Academy for some 500,000+ or so people - it
seems reasonable for the competition to want to reach
out and cater to that segment and create a bridge.
So... If Juniper works for for Jeff Doyle... or vice
versa. It can't be that bad... :)
Paul Borghese has already taken the initiative to
create a Juniper List.
And lots of jobs with 6 digit salaries are readily
available for Cisco CCNP and above who want to make
that jump.
Hmmm...
