Having just passed my CCIE Written, those information are neatly summarized
in Wendel Odom's book. CCIE Routing & Switching Exam Certification Guide.
Unfortunately its contents would be partially obsolete as of Today as the
R&S Written has just changed. But I still believe it's invaluable.
Helpful for lab preparation, but to state the obvious, you can't have it
with you on the lab day.
