If I am not mistaken only the 3550 requires the reflecter port.

As my understanding , RSPAN is used to montior the traffic when the
source
port is connected to say switch A and destination port is conneced to
Switch
B. The configuration is as follows.

Switch A

vlan 100
remote-span

monitor session 1 source vlan 150
monitor session 1 destination remote vlan 100

Switch B

vlan 100
remote-span

monitor session 1 source remote vlan 100
monitor session 1 destination port fast0/6

I believe the above configuration is right. Do we require reflector
port. If
yes when do we require it.
