Hi Prem,

In answer to your question as to how much time I allotted to each task I saw
in the lab - I'd write that I allotted about 5 years to the each of the
subjects you mention. ;-)

Seriously, each of us is different in this quest. If I state I only took 5
hours, total, for the lab, but spent the next three hours reviewing,
correcting, questioning, what would you think? If you were at the lab, and
had hit the 5 hour and 30 min mark w/out finishing, would you think you were
'behind' me? I hope not, because I had 'completed' the lab in less time
than five hours in earlier visits, but didn't pass in those earlier visits.
So, is 5 hours the mark? Answer: only for the lab I was offered on that
day.

There's a general consensus that you want to be done with your basic layer 2
and layer 3 within a few hours, and into, if not done with, BGP by lunch.
But many have passed that were not at this stage by then, and I'd venture to
write that many were well into the 'features' part of the lab by lunch time
(whether they passed or not is a different story).

If you are using some of the different vendors workbooks, and you're
knocking out the labs without any large gaps of time being required to
search for answers, you're probably getting close.

HTH,

Could any one who passed the CCIE lab recently provide me the information of
how much time they have alloted for each of the topics during the lab.
