1099 rates for CCIEs can be anywhere from $50/hour to $450/hour. I'm not
kidding. It really depends on the position/project that the CCIE is being
asked to do / as well as the additional background requirements of the CCIE.
There are a LOT of factors that come into play when you talk about
salary/hourly rates, etc. Location of the assignment has an impact.
Somewhere in NYC where the cost of living is high would probably have a
higher compensation level vs. Dallas where the cost of living is lower. Lots
of variables here. Give us more information on the situation.
