Douglas,
Few things you want be to be careful about when setting up
PSTN using T1-crossover cable are as follows, The sample config shows how to
set them.
1) Clock Source under the controller interface
2) ISDN protocol-Emulate under the serial interface corresponding to
controller interface
3) Digit manipulation based on your Dial-Plan
If you do not have a Router for PSTN, you can always connect two routers
back to back using a T1-cross over cable and practice.
