That would be the same as configuring an H.323 IOS gateway (w/o the gatekeeper
part).
Lets say you have two voice ports (coming from the vwic-2mft) and two sites,
one with 7029467xxx and one with 7043335xxx .
Your relevant config would look like the following:
isdn switch-type primary-ni
!
controller T1 0/1/0
framing esf
clock source internal
linecode b8zs
pri-group timeslots 1-3,24
!

Hi Brad,
Just curious here. What config do you set up for the pstn component on
the 3640? The fr cloud is straight forward but curious to know the
details on the pstn. I am assuming NM-HDV's with VWIC-2MFT-T1's... Do
you have a sample config you can share?
Thanks,
Doug

Bobby,
I think the pass rate is the worst on the Voice lab, but I don't think
that
is due to difficulty - just due to lack of time needed. (it's much
quicker
to configure command line items in my opinion vs. using the gui in CCM,
unity, etc).
What is your background? Security? Voice? What type of work do you plan
to
do next? If you can give me some more information, I'd be happy to give
you
some more guidance. Although - it seems like you need to knock off R&S
first before worrying about your next CCIE! ;)
thanks,
Brad Ellis

Brad:
Just out of curiosity...After I beat R&S shortly, I may go for
security or
voice..Which one is tougher in your opinion and why?? Also, I really
like
your workbooks..better than internetworkexperts.

Hoogen,
Hi! We (CCBootCamp) bought out Trinet/Hello Computers assets and
intellectual property. The workbooks we have for them are outdated (the
voice workbook is written for CCM 3).
For a home voice lab, I suggest the following:
1) CCM Pub w/ IPCC Express
1) CCM Sub
1) Unity
1) ATA186
3) 2801s, 2811s, 2600XMs, whatever - just make sure you have the proper
DSPs/modules (VWICs, etc)
1) 3640 for your PSTN and FR cloud, or you can use a 28xx or 2600XM
1) NM-CUE or AIM-CUE
the list above will let you do most things. if you really have a big
pocket
book, go for a cat6500 and vg248 as well! ;)
thanks,
Brad Ellis

Hi,
Has anyone got ideas on Trinet Hello Computers Voice workbooks. Been
hearing
good reviews outside this forum. Also has anyone built their own voice
lab?
Would help a great if you could post about lab equipment used for
practise.
