Clearing deleted interfaces off a router without rebooting?

Hi all,

Is there any way of clearing a deleted interface on a router without rebooting it? For example if you have a whole bunch of multipoint frame-relay interfaces and you want to change those to point-to-point you need to remove the interface and re-create it. The problem is you can't use the same interface because it still exists on the router as a deleted interface. I keep having to reboot the routers to clear them while I'm studying and it's a pain. Any ideas?

Regards,
Mike
