Subject: Testing Multicast
Date: Mon, 28 May 2007 20:47:12 -0300
Hello masters,
I got a question about how test multicast on ccie lab. I've been
trying
using ping polling an interface configured using "igmp join-group"
command
but I got many problems using that, some time-outs for example. Is
ping a
reliable method to test a multicast network ? Is there any other way
to do
it without a source that generates traffic for a group ?
Thanks,
Rafael
