Hi Group,
I am sorry for the OT but had this question for a while now and asked few
folks about an advice but never got a straight answer. So, I have decided
to post this question to GS hoping that one of the experts would provide me
with a good advice. I wanted to see what is the good way to get into Voice
track (could be CCIE or CCVP), I am looking at an advice because I don't
have any real life voice experience but always wanted to get into it but did
not know how to approach this. I think most of you probably would suggest
that I first try CCVP and then see if there is interest/urge to pursue CCIE
and if that is the case, what are the recommended books/links that I
could/should use to prepare myself. I also wondered if there is any
simulators that can help someone prepare for voice (like dynamips) so I
don't have to spend a lot of money building a lab at home because I don't
deal with voice at work at all and that is why, there is no way I am going
to be able to convince my manager to send me to any training or buy
equipment for me. Therefore, I would really appreciate any input on this
and sorry again for bringing this up and interrupting your studies :-(
Regards,
Tony
