Almost forgot t mention to check out some of the newer dual core processors
out there. These are like two processors in one if the OS supports it and
while not cheap, may be more than a two-way box with comparable procs. Two
of these babies will run somewhat like a 4-way box but a lot cheaper.
You could also buy some cheap PCs and connect them together. For the price,
I've been thinking about just buying/building a dozen cheap PCs with Linux
and running a dedicated PC for each instance. Not cheap for sure (at least
$100/each) but certainly a lot cheaper than a real lab, especially if
2800/3800 routers are included soon.

Subject: OT: Cheap hardware for Dynamips
Hi,
I am running dynamips on 2gigs cpu/1gig ram but can not run more than 6
instances.
Just wondering if anyone can suggest a cheap hardware (PC/Server) with 4 CPU
and 3-4 gigs RAM. I believe using this type of high configuration, I would
be able to run more then 15 instances.
Froggie..
