Peter,
This has to be a problem in your PC. Do you have zonealarm installed on it?
Regards,
Tamer

Subject: transparent mode problem
guys ;
I have a weird problem
I am using an ASA 5505 in transparent mode connecting vlan1 and vlan2 same
subnet as follows
Pc---vlan1------inside-ASA-outside----vlan2----------R1
the PC is able to ping the managment , R1 is able to ping the management ,
and the PC can ping R1 when i allow the icmp echo-replies on the outside of
the ASA ..everything looks ok
now im trying to access the R1 http server from the PC ..but no matter
what IP address i type on the PC browser ..i get the following IP on the ASA
when i type show conn
%ASA-6-302013: Built outbound TCP connection 90 for
outside:209.87.208.60/8083 (209.87.208.60/8083) to inside:10.1.1.1/1174
(10.1.1.1/1174)
I looked up the IP address 209.87.208.60 and i found it some zonelabs IP
address in the US ...this is an offline setup ....what is going on ??
why the ASA shows the connections to that IP ???
and by the way ..the PC has no DNS configured or proxy .
any input will be appreciated
