Myself. J My name is Dan and I am in my early stages of studying for the
R&S lab. I have been a member of the group for about 6 months now and I
love reading all the emails every day with everyone's questions and the
responses to those questions. I am sure you guys will be hearing from me
more often as I start this fun ol' journey to get my CCIE.

Anyways, I also have 2 questions.

1) I would assume this could be answered with breaking the NDA, but
what is everyone's position on the ways to connect to a router in the
lab. If there are both options of just opening a telnet window for each
router or just going through a terminal server (if the lab has that). I
am just trying to get a good idea of how to prepare for that portion.

2) We have some old Cisco Voice Gateway Routers that have Ethernet
ports in it. The question I have is can I just load a basic IOS (like a
2600 IOS) on it instead of the voice gateway software that is on it
right now. I am asking because the router looks like it's just a 2600
router with the voice gateway software on it.

Thanks in advance!
