Switches

Without going in to the merits of rack rental etc, I was wondering if the
lab is going to continue to use a mix of 3550 and 3560 switches for some
time to come? The reason I ask is that I have 3 x 3560s and I did have a
3550 but it has gone to Cisco heaven. So would there be merit in me buying
another 3550, or a 3560 which I can get at Gold parent purchase rates, so
would not be much more than a 3550 from Ebay.

I know that the Cisco announcement was the begin replacing, but it seems
that they favour the mixed setup or is that just interim until they replace
all across the fleet?

Thanks

Graham
