Just Catalyst OS.
However it will support SSH in later releases.
Even the 2948G-L3 and 2980G-L3 are kind of clunky for
L3 IOS.
I bought one of each anyway... One of my books called
for them.
The 2948G runs pretty much the same CatOS as a Cat4000
or Cat4500...
Someone may beat me up on that but I just downloaded
the most current images and they say cat4000 as of...
yesterday <Mon>.
