Hi All,
I have a point could not understand clearly.
On that task BGP AS 100 is running on the R4 and R6. I have advertised
internal network 139.1.5.0 and 139.1.6.0 on the R4 and R6 respectively and
then I advertised an aggregate of 139.1.0.0/16 to BB1 and BB3
R4:
router bgp 100
neighbor 204.12.1.254 remote-as 54
neighbor 150.1.6.6 remote-as 100
neighbor 150.1.6.6 update-source lo0
neighbor 150.1.6.6 next-hop-self
network 139.1.5.0 mask 255.255.255.0

R6:

neighbor 54.1.2.254 remote-as 54
neighbor 150.1.4.4 remote-as 100
neighbor 150.1.4.4 update-source lo0
neighbor 150.1.4.4 next-hop-self
network 139.1.6.0 mask 255.255.255.0
aggregate-address 139.1.0.0 255.255.0.0 summary-only
Task says that traffic for prefix 139.1.5.0/24 has to come via R4 and I
applied a unsuppress-map on the neighbor 204.12.1.254 on R4. But do I also
need to filter 139.1.0.0/16 on that router. I know that that prefix
advertised to AS54 from R6 can not come again via R4. Because loop
prevention mechanism of BGP prevents that prefix to come via R4 again by
looking at the AS-PATH of the prefix. Why solution guide is added that
distribute-list to the R4's under BGP process?
Please clarify me.
