I would think you are under exam guidelines even while having lunch. Which
would mean no contact with any outsider till the exam is over. You could ask
the proctor the day before your exam though.
I'd suggest you focus on getting your exam done !!!! ... instead of having
stresses of worrying over your wife while taking the exam. Once you get your
ccie - there were will be plenty of opportunities for vacation trips to
spend better, enjoyabale time with your wife.
Otherwise..
Your wife can could go to the Great Mall in Milpitas (on the other side of
Cisco campus). It has endless list of stores and factory outlets. Can easily
spend a full day in there. It has a huge century movie theatre too if she
wants to watch a movie. Places to eat.
