Hi Andy!
Here is what worked for me.
When I first started studying, the blueprint indicated that I should
know 12.2 features. So naturally, I started practicing, studying, and
working with the 12.2 area of docs.
As my studying stretched into years, Cisco announced 12.3 and then 12.4
features were a possibility.
Because I had become so fast and so knowledgeable of the 12.2 docs - I
DID NOT switch. On my final lab attempt, I used the 12.2 docs and
benefited from my blazing speed and familiarity with them. If I
suspected that a task required a new feature from 12.3 or 12.4 - I would
then enter those documents to find it. Since I had practiced using those
documents as well - it was not like I was totally lost within them. I
just preferred to stick with 12.2 as my base!

Subject: Re: Stick with 12.4 IOS on doc CD
Thanks, I have viewed the COD, and it was usefull in how to search etc.
I
was just wondering if I shoud concentrate on the 12.4 IOS as primary,
and if
I can not find it there then search in 12.3 or 12.2.
Or, are some subjects better represented in one IOS train over another,
I
would hope not as this would mean a lot of memorizing ...
