I did this lab a few days ago. In my opinion:
'switchport mode dot1q-tunnel' is not necessary and is not requested by the
task
'l2protocol-tunnel cdp' is the only config needed here
Also in the docCD it says that l2protocol-tunnel can work indipendently from
dot1q-tunnel
