I would doubt that the 3000 concentrator comes off the lab anytime soon.
It is a solid VPN box and very heavily deployed throughout the world.
3550 has been EOL for quite some time now too - but it hasn't come off of
the Voice or Security labs yet either ...

Now we have dynamips and pixemu around :) This way one may just use couple
of PCs
to simulate 80% of lab equipment. In the past, it was pefrectly possible to
install
IDS 4.x code on the standalone PC as well. Alas, I never heard if this is
really possible
with newer 5.x. As for ACS it was possible to obtain a trial license back in
days, and
Cisco Trust Agent is claimed to be "free" software (although i don't see an
easy free
way to download it).
For VPN3000 concentrator, it's probably will be taken off the lab shortly,
due to it's EOL
status.
