I was scheduled to go to the NLI bootcamp last August but I switched jobs
and gave up the trip. Unfortunately my new company's training budget got
cut so I was not able to attend a bootcamp. I'm sure that they are all good
and will teach you the material that you need to know and techniques that
you'll need to perfect to be able to pass. There are a lot of discussions
here about the various bootcamps. Darby Weaver has been to a few and has
detailed descriptions out there of each.
We do have a lab at work so I was really able to take advantage of that.
That was one of the reasons that I took this job! It would have been tough
to get here without it. I found less value in books while preparing for the
lab. Everything that you need is on the Doc CD. I did read the new QoS
book, which is very good, and found myself thumbing through the Practical
Studies and Written Exam Certification Guide books from time to time. I
have read several of them over the years though and that really helped me
build up my knowledge and understanding.
