HSRP : Tracking routers connection to FR

Folks,
If a router is connected to FR cloud via sub-Interface and at the same time
we are being asked to track this interface in HSRP, shall we track the
sub-if or the main Interface ? Please note, this is the only sub Interface
on this main interface facing the FR. What would be the best practice here ?
