Can't get that way to work either,
Tunnel26 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is Tunnel
Internet address is 2.2.2.2/30
MTU 1514 bytes, BW 9 Kbit, DLY 500000 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation TUNNEL, loopback not set
Keepalive not set
Tunnel source 204.12.1.2 (FastEthernet0/0), destination UNKNOWN
Tunnel protocol/transport IPv6 auto-tunnel, key disabled, sequencing disabled
Reading through the Documentation on the ipv6 compatible tunnels, they only mention BGP, does this maybe have to running for the auto-tunnel to work???

This way the ipv6 address is derived from the ipv4 address.

IGP is running on router interfaces so they IP addresses can all talk. You can not add any ipv6 addresses to the two routers...
