Subject: #17781 1st attempt!!

Hi All,

I would really like to thank this great group for all the great advices,
excellent information source and sometimes endless but awesome e-mails (aka
Darby :). Well, I really didnt participate too much in the forum but was an
unconditional follower...

I started my prep around last year by this time having got already the CCNP.
Started the lab work seriously around october and scheduled the lab for
April 16th.
I used primarily Internetwork Expert WB 4.0, which is absolutely excellent,
with all the breakdowns, pitfalls, and so forth, also some of the IPexpert
labs, IPexpert audiobootcamp (this was also great). And finally the 2
assessor labs and a couple of InternetworkExpert mock labs. Really good
stuff and excellent explanations from Brian.

Abosolute keys for passing the lab:

1- Check everything at the end of each section.
2- Leave unsure things for the end
3- You should have around 1,5 hours for testing at the end. When finished,
check everything reading the question requirements again and checking the
confgs for misinterpretations. (I found 4 or 5 mistakes this way)
4- Leave unsure things for the end, look them up on the univercd and do
them!
5-Recheck everything you can again!

6- And last but not least, ask the proctors about any ambiguity on the
wording of the questions, this can really save lots of points, it did for
me.

Now time for some rest, fun and maybe go for SP after some time...

The effort is really worth it, the bigger the effort, the bigger the
satisfaction you get..

See you soon!!
