The only story I have is one told to me by a proctor.
One of the proctors in RTP was telling about what they do in their spare
time... which is catch people cheating and violating the NDA. He told me
about a person that passed the exam with 100%. I was like... 100%... how is
that possible, he said that people have the tests available that you can
memorize and then just take.
The rest of the story is that this person that passed, ended up getting
fired at the new "CCIE" job, because he couldn't plug in a cat5 cable (no
troubleshooting experience). The way that this proctor found out was that
this person's former employer called cisco and complained that their test
doesn't do a thing or mean anything.
So everyday they are working hard to find these people that are cheating...
and a way they are going to do this is by adding more troubleshooting into
the exam and switching it up constantly.
That's all I have... besides... when you go to a company... and you say you
have a CCIE... people instantly think you are a networking God and know
everything there is to know about networking... and that you can talk in
Binary. So if this person cheats... they will be found out really quickly
and be embarrassed.
