Thank you for contacting Certification Support.
We use Japanese keyboard in Tokyo, but all characters typed are in English
so there is not much difference between Japanese keyboard and U.S. keyboard.
Before the exam begins proctor always give a 5-10 minute briefing for
non-Japanese candidates about the tips on using Japanese keyboard. This
involves the use of special characters such as Caps Lock, "|", "*", and ":".
Candidates also can ask proctor anytime they need help with the keyboard
during the exam.
Best regards,
Kyoko Kato
