Poor my switches. Each of the four is a MST region on its own.
Don't know how the norm works still. How can the IST single instance
take care of BPDUs of other instances?
When IST blocks a port, the BPDUs are not going anywhere for the
other instances.
Unless IST opens all ports that any instance needs. But this way,
the IST can have loop!
Did someone say BPDUs have TTL of 1 or something ? Even so, IST can
have user traffic!! We can't have any loop in the IST.
I am totally lost.
