What is wrong with you people? We are CCIE candidates,
we do not get tired, we do not get bored, we do not
restless, and we do not get beat. We just carry on,
we take our hits and we move on and we learn one more
tip, trick, or technique. We do not stop, day or
night.

Quit your job, divorce your wife, dump your
girlfriend, empty your bank accounts, max your credit
cards, become an insomaniac, learn to speed read,
listen to IPExpert or IE Audio at night while you
sleep - if you actually sleep... learn shortcuts and
type faster.

Get the point. Whatever the point is... That is the
idea... 80 and nothing more and nothing less.

Use your univercd whenever you even think you have a
doubt, consult TAC on things that still don't make
sense.

If you are doing these things and still have time to
worry about getting bored. You need to wake up from
your studies and get it together cause you are missing
the point.

Read when you go to the movies and when you go to
lunch, read when you are in line and listen to audio
while you commute.

Don't even think of giving up, getting tired, or
feeling sorry for yourself, ask yourself are you
feeling sorry for those who have passed.

Now I quiz myself why some CCIE's pass and still have
trouble in the market, but mostly I attribute this to
marketing oneself constructively.

The correct answer is "it depends".

Remembering all the time that the goal is not merely
to achieve the digits, but more importantly attaining
the ability to do the job, day-to-day. If you have
not attained this ability and confidence, even if you
make the 80, you'll have missed the point of this
exercise.

MHO.
