The lower-end courses have had DSL and Cable modems for years. Magically
these have never, ever appeared in CCIE labs. So I think the basic fact we
need to remember is that while the professional certs are good preparation
for parts of the CCIE certification, they are by no means related or feeding
into it.

Besides, if everyone remembers when Cisco added IPv6, bunch of people
freaked out so much that they thought they will never get their CCIE number,
a lighter version of that occured when CIsco added the additional 2
switches. Now from time to time i see some of these people responding to
IPv6 and Switching questions and few of them have their CCIE. Hey it only
makes us a better person.
But as far as BCMSN and CCNP courses (The new ones), they have DSL,
Wireless, MPLS, and a nice IPsec VPN section. Now your guess is as good as
mine.
