Hey guys. I'm using a 2611 as a frame relay switch. I'm using a common
config generally available on the net. It works great and I have
frame-relay working fine based on the IPExpert lab diagram. However, if I
write erase - reload one of my routers and then configure an interface for
frame relay and connect it to my frame switch, I can't get LMI from the
frame switch. The fix is to go to the serial interface on the frame switch
and key in "clock rate 64000". This causes the link to come up and LMI to
be exchanged, even though I have already set the clock rate many times on
that interface to 64000. It's as if this command wakes up the serial
interface on the frame switch. Any ideas? Has anyone seen this and know
how to fix it so that I don't need to "wake up" the frame switch each time?
Thanks.
Curtis
