Hi Hiriam

Sorry to burst your bubble but CCIE is nothing like MCSE, I am an MCSE and
CCNP and I have more then 7 years experience with Cisco and I am working to
become CCIE, first you need to complete your CCIE Written and then the CCIE
lab is 8 hours of intense test although you have access to Cisco
Documentation it is not to the site search it is to the old Doc CD format so
you need to know what to look for and where to look for it also you will
have available time of max 1 or 2 searchs as the exam is between 18 - 20
pages of tasks.

So if your only experience is MCSE you will realize that even if you will
learn night and day from books and you will have a lab for you 24/7 for the
full 30 days I dought you will pass.

the Cisco OS name is IOS and it is much more then DOS, DOS is a stupid OS
with simple features.

you can look for some notes,

http://cciep3.blogspot.com
www.ccie4u.com
www.internetworkexpert.com
www.cisco.com/go/ccie

also regarding your question on IP subletting you must know IPv4 perfect and
not only 24 bit mask networks. you must know also IPv6 in a good level.
Switching and Bridging - Core
Routing - Core
IPv6 - Side topic
Security - Side Topic
QoS - Side Topic
Multicast - Side Topic
IP Services (DHCP, HSRP, VRRP, NAT, more...)

you have so much things to know that even if you spend not 4 hours but full
24 hours 30 days will not be good for both written and lab or even only lab.

So I wish you good luck but I suggest you start work hard and be prepare for
at least 4 months of intense work
