Usually this happens with multiple context mode. (which will survive an
erase/reload)
Verify with "show mode".
Change back to "mode single" and you should be fine.

I am just getting familiar with the ASA'a and experiencing a problem.
After a write erase and reload, when I go into the interfaces, there is no
option to configure an IP or nameif.
Is the ASA is some kind of non-standard mode? Can somebody assist to get it
back to normal state?
