it is not a stub area,
for example :

Area 1 - Router B - Area 0 - Router A - internet - ip GW 1.1.1.2

I don't have problems to do:

Routrer A:

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 1.1.1.2
router ospf 1
default-information orig alw

it works well
!

Exists a way of doing without the default-information?
