I have a policy-map that looks like the following:
policy-map VOICE
description QoS for VOICE
class VOIP-BA
priority 72 3000
class PRDATA-BA
bandwidth 40
class class-default
bandwidth 192
I realize that the Priority is a type of policer, but how is the burst
(3000) determined? Is it determined by using:
Be=CIR X .125 X 1.5 sec
Or is it found with some other magic formula? I have been searching the
Cisco website up and down and cannot find a solid answer.
