some people just want a slice of the american pie and are willing to take
anything to get it. Maybe they are just looking for a foot in the door. All
this is difficult to understand for those of us who live here already.
Companies know this, they also know what you get paid in the home country.
They are also sponsoring the employee with the H1-B that right there is a
benefit to them.
So I wouldnt call anyone stupid for accepting a deal, 30k is a bit low..but
50k-60k may be acceptable considering the company is hooking them up with the
H1-B and giving them a chance to come to america!
