In a nutshell, to obtain certain partner status levels you need to
employ a certain number of certified individuals. As a partner, you are
allocated a certain amount of gear that can be ordered as "not for
resale" (lab/educational) purposes each year. But, certainly, this is
not the only thing that partner certification level affects.
