The story I heard regarding a fake fax transmission was someone who simply
placed the paper on the output bin of the destination fax machine, to look
like it had gone through. I'm sure there are other stories, though.

Gee You would have to be pretty bold to pull off a stunt like that. I guess
I would be rather surprised what happens behind those closed doors. I guess
some people would try anything. I did hear a story once (I cannot verify
this though) that someone faked a fax transmission (I don't know how).
