If you're thinking of trying to run other router's code on the box, I think
you might have an issue with that. It's probably time to look at some new

I have a client in the medical industry that has about 250 remote sites that
are using the 3640 as outer and inner routers. The issue is that the 3640
will be end of support in November and Cisco does not offer software support
after that date. Other than buying new equipment, does anyone have any
suggestions on strategies? Is there anyone else out there with the same
problem?
