 You can google the Eric S. Raymond to read the software engineering
concepts especially opensource logic, *nix and windows articles, for
looking a different point of view before the judging this application.
  technically, AFAIK, two application could simulate the cisco-router
hardwares, dynamips and cisco on solaris, up to I know the dynamips has
got the more layer-2 feature then the cisco(2003) does.
