Excellent line of reasoning.

After being made aware of it and noting what it
actually does, I do find it odd that it is not
supported, especially since other vendors are using
this command as my google search indicated.

I guess, I'll just keep it in the back of my head for
a rainy day.

Since I do work on some networks that are
multi-vendor, this actually does have a real-world
value.

So much that a recent issue that we encountered at
work with Foundry may even need to be looked at again,
since we do have Cisco in the same picture.

Wonder if this might have caused an discrepancy that
we may have somehow overlooked.
