It is not possible to upgrade, when you will run the upgrade script it will
check for bios or some thing on mother board and will detect that it is "not
supported" hardware, even it failed on NM-IDS and VMware IDS.
Until now I don't have seen any Franken Ids running IPS successfully. If any
one... I will be happy to hear.

I have franken IDS 4.1 running on PC and working fine .
now since Cisco lab is offering ver 5.x
I wonder if it is possible to upgrade it on the PC ..is there anyone
