FYI -
I've seen people asking about how to do multiple
commands with TCL and no one seems to have a
definitive source. Nice if someone can change this
status or correct me if I am mistaken however - as it
may just be my own ignorance.
Don't know how I overlooked it before, but I did.
NetMasterCLass offers a tool called CheckIT and with
this tool one is able to run virtually any command in
the IOS - and others Val worked on that are specific
to the NMC environment.
One other thing the guys at NMC did was not only give
one the ability to use CheckIT, but on the side they
also gave one the recommended comands to actually
verify one's work.
But what I noticed last night went even deeper - these
guys are really cheating themselves at sleep sicne
they took each one of the recommended commands and
made a script on a per lab basis.
They let you use these scripts (TCL) to run against
your own configs and against the CheckIT Labs and DoIT
Labs.
This is quite a contribution to the cause.
I just thought I would point it out.
I realize some here use these features to more
advantage than I have, but for those who have not
realized this as I did not - here's a bone you can
taste the flavor of.
Later,
Darby
