Anthony,

I am really sorry for getting you off track with the joke about
kissing butt and pats on the head. However, if it gave you a chance to
reflect on the past then maybe it was all worth it.

What I suggest that you
do is think about stuff ahead of time. For instance, when you right a long
self-promotional email, showing how much you know and praising those up above,
don't accuse someone on this board, that you don't even know, of breaking the
NDA. It is wrong. When somebody is trying to work through a technical issue.
Don't tell them that this vendor is the greatest and spend money on this
product because it is the greatest product under the sun, without telling that
you helped make it. It is wrong. I could make this list go on for a long
time but it would waste our time and I promised to refrain.

Being gracious is
cool, but that is not what you were doing.

Khalid

Thanks so much Khalid!

I average exactly 1 flame per year of GroupStudy
posts and you have just ensured that average stays constant. I love
consistency.

While my first and most obvious reaction was to ignore this
flameit got me to thinking

Do I butt kiss on GroupStudy? If so who do
I butt kiss? And why do I butt kiss? Is butt kissing safe? ;-)

You know
what? I am guilty as charged! I am officially guilty of butt kissing in the
following instances:

InternetworkExpert without Brian and Brian, I have no
idea if I would possess my CCIE right now.
NetMasterClass without their
staff, same as above.
Scott Morris he helped me on countless posts to this
forum as did Brian and Brian.

I think you missed the mark on your
observation about me kissing Ciscos butt. I have never tried to do
thatalthough I was very polite and respectful to John Chambers on various
occasions when we have met. LOL

Why am I guilty of the above crimes?
Not for pats on the head, you silly.

It was to show my immense gratitude
whenever possible, and to convince GroupStudy members that the vendors and
Cisco trainers/authors that support this group offer top-notch products and
services. I am very proud to consider myself amongst that group.

Anyways,
thanks again for your flame and giving me time to pause and reflect on MY OWN
history of GroupStudy posts. Best of luck to you, and I hope GroupStudy helps
you with whatever it is you desire to achieve.

Hey Anthony,

Is
the reason that you spend so much time kissing Cisco's butt along with NMC
because you think they are watching and gonna give you a couple of pats on the
head??
